Why can't I send an interest to some profiles?

Some families accept proposals only from their own caste. If a profile's caste preferences don't match yours, an interest can't be sent. It also isn't possible if either of you has blocked the other, or the profile is no longer active.

Will they see my phone number when I send an interest?

No. Contact details are shared only after an interest is accepted.

They've already sent me an interest. What do I do?

Their profile shows Accept and Reject instead of Send Interest — tap Accept to connect.

Where can I see the interests I've sent?

Open Interest Sent from the menu. It shows every interest and whether it's pending, accepted or declined.

How to Send an Interest on MarathiVivah

Open a profile you like and tap Send Interest, then confirm with Send Interest. The other family is notified straight away. If they accept, you can both see each other's contact details; if they decline, you can send it again after 7 days.

Steps to send an interest

Log in and open Profiles from the menu (or a suggested profile on your Dashboard).
Tap a profile to open it and read the full details.
In the Actions section, tap Send Interest.
In the Express Interest box, tap Send Interest to confirm.
The button changes to Interest Sent · Pending. You'll find it under Interest Sent in the menu.

What happens next

The other family is notified on MarathiVivah, and on WhatsApp or email if they have those on.
If they accept, the button shows Connected and their phone number appears in the Contact Information section of their profile. You get a notification too.
If they haven't replied, we send them a reminder.
If they decline, you're not given a reason. You can send the interest again after 7 days — the button changes to Send Interest Again.
